Booth Calendar

Frequently asked questions

Who is this for?

Salon owners and independent renters who share chairs or stations. This is a space-reservation calendar, not a client appointment scheduler.

What happens after the free pilot?

Try Booth Calendar free for 30 days after your salon account is activated. Continued use after the pilot requires a paid subscription. The price is $19 per salon per month, including invited renters. We will show the billing terms before asking you to subscribe. No card is required for the pilot, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

There is no free-forever plan. If you do not subscribe, ongoing calendar use ends after the pilot, unless we explicitly extend it. If payment setup is not ready, we will communicate an extension rather than charge retroactively.

Who pays?

The salon owner pays $19 per month for the salon, including its invited renters. Invited renters are not asked to buy their own subscription during this pilot.

How do I get started?

Verify your email, open Studio settings, configure active chairs and opening hours, then use Renter invitations. Renters follow their email link to join.

Do renters need an app or password?

No download is needed. Open the website on a phone or computer. Sign in using an email link, which expires after 15 minutes.

How do reservations work?

Choose an available chair, date, start and end time. Include setup and cleanup time. You can repeat a weekly reservation or release time you no longer need. Overlapping reservations are rejected.

What can the owner change?

Owners manage chairs, hours and renter access, make reservations for renters, and block studio time. Contact affected renters directly before changing their reservations: automatic booking-change notifications are not included.

Which time zone is used?

All calendar times use America/New_York (Eastern Time, including daylight saving changes). The pilot is intended for salons using that time zone.

Does it collect rent or manage my clients?

No. Keep client appointments, payments and rental agreements in your existing systems. Do not enter client or payment details here.

How do I get help or leave?

Email support@boothcalendar.com with your salon name and a short description. For a booking issue, include the chair and time, but never send your sign-in link. Support is handled by a small team and is not available around the clock. You can request account closure or a copy of your records by email.
